There's been lots of this sitting around strapped to monitors, but you won't hear me complain. I am currently going to the doctor twice a week for non-stress tests and ultrasounds to check his fluid levels and to make sure he's growing and non having any kind of heart failure. Hearing his little heartbeat for a half hour is the perfect backdrop for reading or relaxing and is the best kind of reassurance.
We are now scheduled with a delivery date of May 29th, the Tuesday after Memorial Day. Here's to hoping both Will and I make it that far. It's been so much fun putting together his nursery and organizing all his little clothes (mostly hand-me-downs...thank God for big brothers). I was looking back at baby pictures of Ben and can't even believe he'll be almost 4 when Will arrives. This evening Ben wanted to rest his head on my belly while I read his new Firefighter book. He is definitely ready to be a big brother.
